One of the things I love about my business is the fact that you MUST travel to conventions, which are usually held in wonderful places all around the world. This time it is Budapest in Hungary. This is my very first time there although my grandmother was Hungarian. She lived in Vienna though, but in those days Austria and Hungary were one.
This time I have two colleagues coming with me from Finland. In the past I always travelled alone at first and then gradually others joined me. My sponsor, Mary, is coming from London, England so it will be a great week-end with her teams and uplines. Although we learn lots from the company meetings, I find that the best information we get is from talking with all the other distributors from all over the world. There will be 7000 people so new friends will most certainly be made! It is always such a shame that people starting out don´t go to these events because before you do, you will not know what you are missing. It is the best investment for your business. Of course there is the expense of hotel and flights but in this business, there really are so few expenses in comparison to traditional businesses that it makes me wonder, whether everyone truly understands that this really is a good, legitimate business worth pursuing... No business takes off in a few months. Why do people expect this business to do so? Don´t know. First, we must get to know the products by using them. How else will we be able to tell people our own experiences? Then the compensation plan - how the money is made. Very important for most people to know. Also very motivating.
Autumn is the best time of the year running up to Christmas, which I love. Now there is a very good BUZZ with our team and we are going places! Anyone wanting to join us, is very welcome. All you have to do is ask.
Before Budapest we will be at the Helsinki Exhibition Centre at the K&T Messut 19.-21.10.2012 so there is lots to be done before our trip. The number of our stand isd 6n46 and we are expecting to be very very busy. Hard work but lots of fun.
